Position Purpose & FocusAs the Employee Benefits Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of local and national employer group clients, with account volume and scope determined by the size, complexity, and strategic needs of each account. This role serves as a primary relationship manager, partnering closely with clients to deliver exceptional service, proactive support, and strategic employee benefits solutions. Success in this role requires strong client stewardship, effective issue resolution, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining Bryson’s high service standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Own day-to-day service and overall experience for dedicated accounts•Serve as the point of contact for clients, producers, insurance carriers, and internal partners.•Build strong client relationships and proactively identify challenges, delivering strategic, solution-oriented recommendations•Identify issues, develop strategic solutions, and communicate recommendations to clients.•Lead renewal strategy, including analysis of plan options and consultative presentation of recommendations•Communicate timelines, due dates, and expectations to clients and partners•Schedule and lead client meetings, open enrollment sessions, and education meetings.•Effectively install new group insurance contracts for new and existing clients.•Educate clients on compliance measures such as ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and FMLA•Ensure clients are aware of all the resources provided by Bryson.•Maintain expertise in benefits administration systems and provide support to clients in utilizing this technologyQualifications | Competencies | Success FactorsQualifications:•High level of technical insurance knowledge•4 + years' experience as an Account Manager•Active Life & Health Insurance License•Bachelor’s degree preferred•Demonstrated professional judgment and integrity•Expertise in client service delivery•Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client needs•Excellent interpersonal skills with a polished demeanor•Travel to clients; requiredCompetencies:Proactive and self-motivated; ability to work independently with minimal oversightPossess a strong teamwork orientationDemonstrate strong prioritization and multitasking skillsOrganized with excellent verbal and communication skillsComputer proficient with excellent technological skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to easily adopt and work with all software platforms used at Bryson, namely EPICSuccess FactorsProficient in Microsoft Office and EPIC applicationsExcellent customer relationship skills, and proven ability to professionally interact with prospects, clients, and vendorsEthical business standards and transparencyPromote open communication and high moraleAdoption of the Bryson “WOW” service model.
