Job Summary
Electrical Engineer. Uses AutoCAD and REVIT to design electrical systems, lighting layouts, and power systems for various commercial building spaces.
Responsibilities
Perform basic electrical engineering calculations
Layout and design electrical distribution
Work on lighting design and lighting controls
Design and layout fire alarm and low voltage systems
Design systems in accordance with the NEC and IECC
Design projects from conceptual design to completion
Perform site investigations during design and construction
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required)
3 to 5+ years of experience in designing electrical systems for various types of facilities (required)
Professional Engineering license or ability to obtain one
Desire to grow an office and company
Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT (required)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Leadership ability and entrepreneurial spirit
Self‑starter requiring little direction to get moving on a project
Travel: Up to 10%
The expected base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 USD per year or more depending on experience.
