Summary
This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining internal IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable system performance, and delivering high-quality technical support to end users. The position blends network engineering and systems administration, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, optimization, and user experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities
Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, partnering directly with users to resolve challenges efficiently
Contribute to project lifecycles, including planning, execution, documentation, and completion activities
Monitor and meet defined service and performance expectations
Maintain accurate documentation and support materials throughout system and project lifecycles
Communicate consistently with internal teams and stakeholders to prevent and resolve potential issues
Reproduce and analyze user-reported problems to identify root causes
Recommend and implement system or process improvements to enhance performance and usability
Manage IT assets, licensing, and procurement of hardware and software
Administer user environments and security tools across modern endpoint and identity platforms
Configure, deploy, and support network infrastructure including routing, switching, firewalls, and remote connectivity solutions
Provide advanced troubleshooting and Tier 2/3 support for infrastructure and application issues
Perform upgrades, patching, and security updates across systems and networks
Coordinate and complete assigned technical initiatives and projects
Skills
Strong experience with Microsoft ecosystems, including desktop, server, and cloud-based tools
Proficiency in directory services and identity management
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies and remote access platforms
Advanced knowledge of network configuration and troubleshooting, including managed switches and firewalls
Experience working within enterprise network environments, including routing, switching, and security appliances
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines
Professional demeanor when interacting with users and stakeholders
