TheAssistant Vice President, Financial Systemsis a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing financial systems operations and leading largescale finance transformation initiatives. This position partners closely with Finance, IT, and Data teams to modernize systems, improve processes, and support statutory and IFRS financial reporting.What You'll Do Lead daytoday financial systems supporting accounting, regulatory, and compliance reporting Drive finance systems transformation and automation initiatives Manage crossfunctional teams supporting system operations and process improvement Partner with senior Finance and IT leaders to deliver complex, enterprisewide projects Oversee change management, governance, and internal controls for new systems and processes Advance data, analytics, and automation capabilities within Finance Represent Finance in global and enterprise financial initiativesWhat You Bring Ten to fifteen years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably in insurance Strong experience managing financial systems and large transformation programs Proven leadership of crossfunctional teams and complex initiatives Deep understanding of accounting processes, financial reporting, and financial systems Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skillsEducation Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems required Master's degree and CPA certification preferred At American Modern, we see Diversity and Inclusion as a solution to the challenges and opportunities all around us.
