As a CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure accurate and precise measurements of aerospace components. Your expertise will contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control processes and standards within the organization. Responsibilities and Duties: Develop CMM programs using measurement software such as PC-DMIS or similar Analyze blueprints, specifications, and CAD models to create inspection plans and test procedures Operate CMM equipment to measure and inspect aerospace components Conduct inspections and tests to verify dimensional and geometrical accuracy of the components Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve any measurement-related issues Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability Keep accurate records of inspections, tests, and measurements performed Assist in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures Stay updated on the latest industry standards and technologies related to CMM programming Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience) Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a CMM Programmer in the Aerospace industry Strong knowledge of aerospace component measurement techniques and standards Proficient in CMM programming using software such as PC-DMIS or similar Solid understanding of blueprints, specifications, and CAD models Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines #CMMProgrammer #AerospaceDomain #QualityControl #PrecisionMeasurements #InspectionProcesses #CMMProgramming #CADModels #GD&T #MechanicalEngineering #AerospaceIndustry #MeasurementAccuracy #ManufacturingQuality #JobOpening #JoinOurTeam #USJobs Required Skills Programmer Analyst
