Test Engineer
We are currently hiring a Senior level ATLO Engineer for direct hire position in El Segundo, CA. To be successful for this role you must have +6 years of experience with Assembly, Test, Launch and Operational support for spacecraft. To be considered for this position you must be a US Citizen, have a Bachelors in a STEM/ Technical related field, and at least 5 years of similar work experience.No C2C, no C2H, no agency referral fees, or 1099.Senior ATLO Engineer - Spacecraft Assembly, Integration, & TestOn-site in El Segundo, CAWe are hiring a Senior ATLO Engineer to support spacecraft assembly, test, integration, and launch operations for space systems hardware. This role requires direct ATLO experience with spacecraft, including hardware integration, electrical test, harnessing, qualification testing, margin testing, CAD, GD&T, lift operations, and spacecraft systems integration.Responsibilities:Support spacecraft Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO), including hardware integration, electrical test, and mechanical assembly activities.Build, assemble, and integrate spacecraft components, mechanisms, solar arrays, panels, hinges, and full-scale wing assemblies.Perform qualification testing, margin testing, and integration testing for spacecraft hardware and subsystems.Support design integration activities to ensure spacecraft hardware, electrical systems, and mechanical assemblies meet program requirements.Execute spacecraft hardware integration activities, including assembly, lift operations, and system-level integration.Review and work from schematics, harness drawings, CAD models, GD&T requirements, and spacecraft assembly documentation.Support electrical engineering tasks related to harnessing, electrical analysis, standard test equipment, ESD, circuit analysis, radio engineering, and basic electrical principles.Configure, set up, and support software tools, programming, scripting, and Linux-based test environments as needed.Coordinate integration and test activities across multiple spacecraft components or multiple spacecraft programs.Qualifications:U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal LawBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred.6–10 years of direct ATLO experience supporting spacecraft assembly, integration, test, or launch operations.Direct experience working on spacecraft or space systems hardware.Experience with spacecraft hardware integration, assembly operations, lift operations, qualification testing, and margin testing.Experience with electrical schematics, harness drawings, electrical analysis, standard test equipment, ESD practices, circuit analysis, or radio engineering.Experience with CAD, GD&T, spacecraft hardware, mechanisms, panels, hinges, solar arrays, or structural assemblies.Experience with software configuration, setup, programming, or scripting in Python, C++, or Linux environments.Preferred Qualifications:Prior title or experience as an AI&T Engineer, Integration & Test Engineer, Electrical Test Engineer, Launch Operations Engineer, ATLO Engineer, or Space Systems Engineer.Electrical engineering background with spacecraft harnessing experience.Computer engineering background with scripting, software setup, or test automation experience.Experience supporting hardware integration as a primary responsibility.Broad space system knowledge with direct hands-on spacecraft experience.
