Delivery Driver - FedEx Ground

Job description CMD, Inc, is looking for Full Time FedEx Ground Delivery Drivers to join our team**. As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering FedEx packages to residential and commercial customers in the Des Moines/Altoona area. CDL License is NOT required!!! Our company is looking for people who have been Couriers, Delivery drivers, or Route drivers. If you have driven for UPS, Amazon, or any other similar companies, that is a plus! Forklift experience is a plus as well. FedEx Delivery Driver Requirements Applicants must be 21 years of age or older Clean Motor Vehicle Record Clean Background REQUIRED. No felonies, violent misdemeanors, theft, or drug related misdemeanors in the last 10 years. No exceptions. Ability to show up to work every day - Must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical (paid by employer) Physically able to handle packages 100+ lbs., dolly is provided Weekend availability Responsibilities of a FedEx Delivery Driver Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection of delivery vehicle daily Plan and follow the most efficient route for timely deliveries Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed accurately Delivery and pickup of packages to Residential and Commercial customers Completing daily pickups from customers Safety, integrity, service, and attendance are TOP priorities!
