This is a hands-on technical role (not just architecture) responsible for building, integrating, and transforming Client's data platform to support client-facing analytics and sustainability solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead enterprise data architecture, integration, modeling, transformation, analytics, and governance.Build and migrate legacy systems into modern, scalable data platforms.Design and manage data repositories and structures to enable new product offerings.Implement data pipelines and warehouses, leveraging Azure cloud ecosystem.Develop APIs to connect disparate systems and support real-time data movement.Support and mentor team members, while remaining very hands-on in execution.Contribute to product strategy by translating business needs into actionable data solutions.Critical Technical SkillsPython non-negotiable, hands-on scripting ability.SQL & Database expertise PostgreSQL, Azure ADSL Gen2.ETL/Data Pipeline Tools DBT, Airflow, ADF, Databricks, or similar.Cloud Data Engineering experience with Azure preferred (open to other cloud).APIs ability to push/pull data across diverse platforms.PowerShell scripting & server-building (as bonus experience).Data Governance & Security HIPAA compliance experience a strong plus.Bonus: Exposure to machine learning (data tagging, labeling).
