Job DetailsDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Supports the creative team in the execution of retail design programs and creative initiatives by developing high-quality visual concepts and branded design solutions. The Art Director leads the artistic development and production of creative assets across retail environments, presentations, marketing collateral, packaging, and experiential materials. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, this role ensures creative deliverables align with brand standards, project objectives, operational workflows, and client expectations while maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency throughout the design process.Essential Job FunctionsDevelops and executes creative concepts, layouts, and visual solutions for retail and brand initiativesSupports the Design Manager in implementing design strategies, creative standards, and project workflowsCollaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated creative solutionsEnsures brand consistency, graphic integrity, and quality across all deliverablesProvides direction to internal designers,engineers, freelancers, vendors, and external creative partners as assignedAssists in developing presentations, storyboards, mockups, and client-facing materialsPartners with creative, production, and account teams to ensure accurate and timely project executionPresents creative concepts and design rationale clearly and professionally to internal teams and clientsMaintains knowledge of retail trends, consumer insights, materials, and production processesParticipates in press checks and production reviews to ensure quality control and brand standards complianceDemonstrates strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environmentCommunicates effectively through verbal, written, and visual presentation skillsContributes to a collaborative, inclusive, and solutions-focused team environmentAdapts positively to change and demonstrates initiative in learning new tools, processes, and technologiesMaintains quality, productivity, and service standards while meeting project deadlines and business objectivesDemonstrates accountability, reliability, punctuality, and regular attendance in remote and onsite environmentsTravels periodically for meetings, presentations, site visits, or production oversight as neededDemonstrates proficiency in industry techniques, design software, production methods, and creative best practicesPosition Requirements/QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college, University, or art school in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Communications, or closely related fieldExperience: 7+ years of Art Direction or Graphic Design (Environmental, Trade Show, and/or Exhibit graphics preferred)Special Skills/Qualifications: Proficiency in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc). Experience with design best practices as it relates to various channels including social, digital, physical. Thorough understanding of graphic design, photography, typography, and layout.
