Role Description This is a full-time, on-site IT Help Desk role located in Jupiter, FL. The IT Help Desk Specialist will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to employees by resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues. This includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IT equipment, maintaining user accounts, and responding to support tickets in a timely and efficient manner. The role also includes assisting with system updates, managing IT inventory, and ensuring the secure and effective operation of the company’s IT infrastructure. Excellent customer service and proactive problem-solving will be critical in this position. Qualifications Technical Troubleshooting: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.Systems and Networking: Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), network configuration, and security protocols.Communication and Support: Strong interpersonal skills to provide clear guidance to end users and document technical issues effectively.Proactive Thinking: Ability to identify potential technical issues, manage IT projects, and implement solutions independently.Additional Skills: Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are a plus. Familiarity with ticketing systems and enterprise IT solutions is highly desirable.Education and Experience: Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. Previous help desk or technical support experience is preferred.Physical Requirement: Ability to work on-site at the Jupiter, FL location and manage hands-on hardware support.
