IT/IS Specialist

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated IT/IS Specialist to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our information technology systems and ensuring seamless operations across our organization. If you are passionate about technology and have a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive information.Assist in the development and deployment of new software applications.Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT needs.Support day-to-day user needs acrpss office and shop floor environmentsAct as primary point of contact for third-party IT providersInterface with managed service providers, ERP support and security vendorsCoordinate end-user resolutions, escalation and track follow-throughSupport compliance efforts, including working with providers on requirements such as Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.3-7 years of proven experience in IT support or a similar role.Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and security protocols.Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft GCC High and Network securityExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Relevant certifications are a plus.
