BayCare Health System is currently seeking a RN to join our outstanding and compassionate Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit at South Florida Baptist Hospital. A full-service, 147-bed hospital, we offer the high-tech services of an acute care hospital, but in a small, warm and friendly environment designed for personal attention and compassionate care.Position Description: RNThe Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development. The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical/telemetry unit Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
