Medical Device Program Manager (Newark)

Project Description We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Program Manager to support a medical device organization through its transition from a public to private company. This individual will lead multiple cross-functional initiatives across manufacturing sites, partnering closely with internal teams, site leadership, and corporate stakeholders to ensure alignment, execution, and delivery of key transformation projects. Responsibilities Lead and manage 2–4 concurrent projects with timelines ranging from 3–6 months (with some extending up to 2 years) Coordinate cross-functional efforts across manufacturing sites, internal teams, and corporate leadership Oversee and guide Value Improvement Engineers (VIEs) to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables using tools such as Smartsheet Provide consistent status updates, reporting, and communication to key stakeholders Drive execution of initiatives tied to operational efficiency, cost savings, and process improvements Identify risks, escalate issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track Support change management efforts during the public-to-private transition Ensure strong coordination across multiple sites to maintain consistency and accountability Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager within the medical device industry Bachelor's Degree Strong experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams and multiple locations Proficiency with Smartsheet or similar project management tools Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage timelines, priorities, and stakeholders effectively Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting organizational transformations (e.g., public to private transition, M&A, or large-scale change initiatives) Background in manufacturing operations or engineering environments Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred, not required) Experience working with Value Improvement or Continuous Improvement teams Team & environment Two value improvement engineers and 1 project manager that will support them, and will be working closely alongside the manufacturing team.
