Responsibilities: Adhere to and promote company SAFETY measures at all times SAFELY operate equipment (excavators, front-end loaders, dozers, and skid steers) Load and unload equipment and materials Prepare construction site and clean up when job is completed Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, tampers, and rakes SAFELY drive trucks and pull trailers with equipment and materials to construction sites Perform routine/preventative maintenance and inspection on equipment Help clean and organize trucks and warehouse areas Minimum Qualifications Proficient operation of heavy construction / excavating equipment in the corrosion control, pipeline construction, or utilities industry Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for insurability Must be able to pass a DOT physical This position requires significant travel (domestic only), and will require you to be gone several months at a time, typically from holiday to holiday Able to work outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to extremes of climate and temperatures Basic computer skills This is a SAFETY-sensitive position and is subject to pre-employment and random DOT drug tests Preferred Qualifications TWIC Card Class A CDL Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
