Job#: 3030989Job Description:Title / Position: Senior Instructional DesignerPay: $40-$50/hrLocation: Charlotte, NC* Hybrid allowance: 4x/week onsite, 1/week remoteContract Duration: 12+ months contract w/ potential to extend or convert with good performanceJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Instructional Designer / Learning Experience Designer to modernize and elevate our new‐hire training programs for sales and retention call center teams. In this role, you will take existing training assets-eLearnings, videos, agendas, and simulations-and transform them into engaging, interactive, and learner‐driven experiences.This position is focused on hands‐on learning creation, particularly in Articulate Storyline, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a corporate learning environment with employees. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to ensure learning experiences accurately reflect real‐world customer conversations, emotional intelligence, and sales communication best practices. In this position you will be working with a team of 8 members ranging from designers, facilitators, and a manager.Day‐to‐Day ResponsibilitiesAudit, redesign, and enhance existing training materials to increase interactivity, engagement, and learner retention.Develop high‐impact interactive e‐learning modules using Articulate Storyline (primary) and Rise (secondary).Design realistic, scenario‐based simulations that reflect the nuances of sales and retention conversations in call center environments.Collaborate with SMEs to build authentic conversation flows, branching scenarios, and decision‐based learning experiences.Utilize Xyleme to create and maintain participant guides and facilitator guides for a blended training program that includes both e‐learning and live workshops.Integrate modern learning technologies, including gamification, branching logic, adaptive learning, and rapid content development techniques.Leverage AI tools to support learning design and development, including brainstorming outlines, generating images, and creating audio assets.Shift training experiences from lecture‐heavy formats to experiential, learner‐centered approaches.Ensure training content reflects the emotional intelligence, empathy, and conversational finesse required for effective sales interactions.Continuously evaluate learner feedback and performance data to iterate, refine, and improve training assets.Qualifications3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or e‐learning development.Advanced, hands‐on experience with Articulate 360, with strong emphasis on Storyline (Rise experience is a plus).Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Premiere Pro).Demonstrated experience using AI tools to support learning design, such as content ideation, image generation, or audio creation.Strong ability to work in a fast‐paced, results‐oriented environment with tight deadlines.Experience developing interactive training for sales, customer service, or call center audiences.Preferred / Nice to HaveExperience with Xyleme or similar learning content management systems.We're seeking a dynamic Learning Experience Designer to create training experiences for sales and retention workforce. Additionally, this person will update call center new hire programs. This person will create e-learnings or supervisor-led modules or an interactive infographic. This person will create a variety of deliverables to support the existing workforce such as eLearnings, supervisor modules and interactive infographics to name a few.
