Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to guests, ensuring dishes meet high standards for presentation and temperature
Act as the liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, communicating food orders and any special requests
Assist in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and high standards of food presentation
Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen, removing dirty dishes and utensils promptly
Collaborate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure all orders are accurately delivered in a timely manner
Provide support as needed during high-volume service
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
Previous back-of-house experience is preferred, specifically expediting or food running
Skills and Qualities:
Strong communication skills, acting as the liaison between kitchen and front-of-house staff
Ability to stay organized and ensure accuracy and presentation in high-volume settings
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail to ensure dishes are presented beautifully
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays
A team-oriented attitude, with a focus on collaboration and excellent service
Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction
