We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) execution in a highly regulated medical device environment. The ideal candidate will have strong SAFe expertise, enterprise-level Agile program leadership experience, and a proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional delivery across distributed teams and cloud-based platforms.
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience in Medical Device / Regulated industries (mandatory)
Strong experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) with deep knowledge of SAFe Agile framework
Proven experience in PI Planning, ART execution, and coordination of multiple Scrum teams in scaled Agile environments
8+ years of experience in Agile program leadership roles, such as Program Manager, Scrum Master, RTE, or similar
Experience working in cloud-based environments and managing distributed/global engineering teams
Strong experience in managing cross-team dependencies, risks, and program-level integrations
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Primary Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions
Drive alignment across multiple Scrum teams to ensure successful program execution and delivery
Manage and resolve cross-team dependencies, risks, and impediments impacting program outcomes
Partner with Product Management, System Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure delivery alignment with business priorities
Track and communicate program progress, milestones, and delivery risks to leadership and stakeholders
Ensure adherence to SAFe principles and Agile best practices across all teams within the ART
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Agile maturity across the organization
Coordinate with distributed teams across geographies and time zones for seamless execution
Provide visibility into program health through reporting, metrics, and dashboards
