Job Description About the ClientThe client is building a modern platform that helps global consumer brands succeed in AI-powered search and discovery. Their product sits at the intersection of search, content, and marketing technology, enabling brands to better understand and influence how they appear across emerging AI-driven channels.They operate as a highly product-focused engineering organization, where teams work closely with customers and have significant ownership over what they build.Role OverviewThe team is looking for an Engineering Manager with at least 1 - 2 years of experience at a high-growth Series A-Series C startup to lead our high-performing engineering team. Past background may have been in an IC lead role or in an engineering manager player-coach role.You will be a player-coach, spending significant time hands-on in the codebase while also setting direction, mentoring engineers, and establishing scalable processes. This is a key role to unify the team and drive product shipments as we scale our engineering organization.What you will do:Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team.Hands-on technical work including conducting detailed code reviews.Establish and refine engineering processes and systems (e.g., using Linear) to help the team scale effectively.Partner with the CEO and CTO to set the technical direction and ship product features.Own the full delivery lifecycle, from planning and execution to ensuring quality.
