Title: ColdFusion DeveloperWork location: Washington DC 20024(Remote possible with approval)Duration: 5 yearsTerm: FulltimeJob Responsibilities:Develop and maintain web applications using ColdFusion, including coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshootingIntegrate ColdFusion applications with Oracle database to store and retrieve data efficientlyDevelop user interfaces and user experiences (UI/UX) that are intuitive, responsive, and user-friendlyIdentify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize code, and implement caching mechanisms to improve application performanceImplement security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and cross-site request forgery (CSRF)Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage source code and collaborate with other developers effectivelyCreate technical documentation, including design documents, code comments, and deployment guides, to facilitate maintenance and knowledge transferDevelop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests to ensure the quality and reliability of applicationsProvide ongoing maintenance and support for existing ColdFusion applications and SQL Stored Procedures, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and implementing enhancementsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or other related discipline. Master's degree preferred.10+ years’ experience in Adobe ColdFusion, including CFML (ColdFusion Markup Language), CFScript, and ColdFusion Administrator10+ years’ experience with relational databases and SQL, including database design, optimization, and queryingPreference shall be given to those with past experience in a Federal Agency
