Poultry Processing Plants, Bagged Ice Facilities, Seafood Plants and Nuclear Power Plants are just a few of the environments we support. Morris has an opening for an experienced senior level refrigeration technician certified to work on both ammonia and halocarbon industrial systems. Job responsibilities include providing technical instruction and assistance to lower-level field service representatives regarding installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of equipment at customer installations. Performing installation, service and on-site repairs of Morris heat exchangers and associated refrigeration equipment. Responding to requests for emergency or troublesome equipment repairs. Must be able to work under direction and from definite objectives, referring only unusual cases to a supervisor. May operate in the field or from home office to provide technical support.Key Responsibilities:Simulate, test, and debug control systems on and off siteAssist with installation of new equipmentRepair equipment to Morris standard in field conditionsAssemble accurate reports after job completion and on equipment operationTrain customers and operators on Morris equipmentCoordinate with project electricians, as well as, conduct pre-installation kick-off meetings.Trouble shooting via phone/on site, start-up/commissioning.Qualifications: Proficient in Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View ME and RSLinx)Familiarity with Mitsubishi HMI and PLC hardware and softwareExperience with multiphase electrical circuitsClean driving record and valid driver's licenseAbility to communicate clearly with customers and maintain bearing during stressful eventsInterpret electrical schematicsMust be able to work without direct supervisionMust past drug screen and background checkExperience with programing VFD's (Variable Frequency Drives), Allen-Bradley & Mitsubishi.Must be willing to travel often and work in less than optimum environments.
