CNA Class-Nurse Aide Training Program

The healthcare industry is the most rewarding field! DeRidder Retirement & Rehabilitation Center covers 100% of the cost for the NATP course as well as your test upon completion of the course within our facility for those individuals selected.This is a paid, entry level position. Once the class is complete and you are certified, your rate will be brought to the CNA pay scale.Job Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentCommitment to scheduled class & work hours with expectation of obtaining certificationExperience working and communicating with seniors is desiredWork effectively with general supervision, ability to organize and manage own work load in a busyAble to accommodate resident requests for assistance within scope of non-certified assistanceAbility to communicate well with residents and families promoting customer service and must maintain a calm and warm working environment with team membersMeet the physical job demands of the positionHours of Work: As Scheduled.
