Line Cook - Universal Kids Resort

JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for the preparation and cooking food for multi-unit operation following all established standards across Universal Kids Resort. Ensures quality food service, presentation and taste is always provided and consistent. Must be highly motivated and detailed orientated with a passion to deliver best in class food.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:+ Prepares food in a timely fashion that is to the specifications of the recipe, including being aware of allergen information, using proper knife skills, and ensuring the quality of food meets Universal standards.+ Follows proper State of Texas HACCP program and ServSafe certification and procedures, along with properly using the portion control tools and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.+ Performs daily operating procedures which include closing/opening, stocking, and helping unload deliveries. Assists Sous Chef as directed for inventory requests.+ Partners closely with other Team Members in a fast-paced kitchen environment, along with providing excellent guest service in moments of guest interaction.+ Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.+ Perform other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:+ Individual Contributor.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:+ Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
