Automotive Service Technician - Toyota

Toyota World of Newton is seeking skilled and experienced Automotive Technicians (A, B, C) to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars and light trucks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and diagnose issues with the powertrain, electrical systems, and other components - Use specialized diagnostic equipment to identify and repair problems with engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements - Utilize hand and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks - Stay current with the latest developments in automotive technology and maintain a clean and organized work environment - Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues and ensure customer satisfaction Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Post-secondary training or certification in automotive repair or a related field - Proven experience working as a service technician or in a related role – minimum 2 years - Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and powertrain components - Proficiency in using hand and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks - Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines - Valid driver's license with clean driving record Benefits offered: · Health Insurance · Prescription Coverage · Disability Coverage · Dental Coverage · Vision Coverage · Continued Paid Training · 401(K) Retirement Plan · Paid Vacation · Paid Holidays · Paid Sick Days Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
