Cable Inspector

Our Client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for a Cable Inspector for their Oldsmar, FL location.Responsibilities:As a Cable Inspection Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our cable products. You'll use your expertise to inspect cables, identify non-conformances, and work with our team to resolve quality issues. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment will make you a valuable asset to our organization.Inspect cables using predetermined methods, operations, and specificationsUse various measuring devices, such as dial indicators, preset micrometers, and scalesAccept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systemsWork from blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, and inspection instructionsMonitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control proceduresCommunicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management to resolve quality issuesPerform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as neededRequirements:Strong background in cable manufacturing and inspectionExperience with soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standardsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and interface with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers, and managementProficient with Personal Computers and newer applicationsNo degree requiredMust be able to read and write EnglishCandidate has a strong background in the manufacturing process of Cables Inspections.Has the willingness and ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.Requires prior inspection experience.Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers and management when resolving quality issues.Why Should You Apply?Excellent growth and advancement opportunitiesICONMA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
