Air and Ocean Import Specialist

Our client, a leading international freight forwarder & customs broker is seeking an Air and Ocean Logistics Specialist to process data/documents for both ocean & air shipments. This position is based in Boston Massachusetts and offers a competitive salary and generous benefits. Responsibilities: Process data/documents for air & ocean shipments. Coordinate with vendors and carriers to provide timely and exemplary service to clients and partners. Handle and maintain accuracy of all related documents, monitor status of shipments, and keep clients informed. Proactively handle any challenges that arises on the day-to-day operations, promoting positive results. Provide rate quotes as requested by our clients and partners. Obtain and negotiate competitive rates from vendors to increase profit. Handling shipments from A-Z and adhere to all company policies and guidelines such as attendance requirements and code of conduct. Customer Service Communication Quotations Skilled Multi-tasker Customs Brokerage Import Import Compliance Customs Clearance Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: At least 2 year experience at a freight forwarder Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
