In this role, you’ll play an essential part in ensuring quality, durability, andcompliance across field inspections, testing, and project execution.What You’ll DoTechnical & Field Inspection● Prepare inspection schedules by reviewing permits, plans, and specifications.● Conduct inspections in Geotechnical, Civil, and Structural disciplines, ensuring work complies with relevant codes and standards.● Issue notices for corrections, interpret codes, and recommend compliance procedures.● Submit daily inspection reports within <24 hours● Maintain 90%+ completion of all assigned safety training● Target zero avoidable safety or equipment incidents● Submit 98% of draft reports within 8 hours — with minimal revisions● Maintain 95% on-time site check-in/check-out● Less than 1 serious issue per quarter related to Inspections, Measuring, and Test Equipment due to technician error, lack of maintenance, or lost/damaged equipmentDocumentation & Quality Records● Maintain accurate inspection records using AEIS digital reporting tools● Review and verify technical documents (e.g., WPS/PQR, lab results, etc.)Collaboration & Continuous Improvement● Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and QA/QC Specialists● Contribute to lessons-learned discussions and workflow improvementsWhat We're Looking ForMust Haves● ACI 1 certification (Active)● 1–10 years of experience in conducting inspections in Geotechnical, Civil, and Structuraldisciplines, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards● OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training (or ability to obtain)● Strong communication and attention to detail● Willingness to travel to project sitesBonus Points● Additional credentials ICC Masonry/Bolting● Experience supporting public infrastructure or transportation projectsWhy This Role Stands Out● Direct collaboration with AEIS Metallurgy & NDT Labs● Access to internal certification programs● Work alongside PEs, senior inspectors, and technical experts● Competitive pay aligned with certifications & experience● Clear growth pathway to QA Lead and Technical Specialist● Supportive, inclusive, and professional team cultureSalary Range: $25/hourBenefits● 401(k) with company contribution● Health, Dental & Vision Insurance● Paid Time Off (PTO)● Family Leave● Professional development & certification support● Employee referral bonuses● Parking and transit benefits● Tuition reimbursement● Company sponsored discounts (Verizon)● Cross-training & internal mentorship opportunites
