Job DetailsDescriptionPatient Care AssistantPosition SummaryUnder assessment and supervision of the Registered Nurse and according to established policies and procedures, the Patient Care Assistant performs patient care activities in order to assist health care providers in performing various technical and clerical procedures in the patient care area. Position requires interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, visitors, and hospital personnel. May be required to float throughout LMHS and perform other duties as requested.ResponsibilitiesAble to recognize an arrest and respond in a critical situation.Accurately obtain and record patient specific data.Lifts, transfers, transport patients safely.Maintain patient safety.
