Technical Sales Manager
Position OverviewThe Technical Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion by serving as the key link between customers and internal engineering teams. This role manages the full sales cycle—from initial outreach through long-term account development—by understanding customer requirements and delivering tailored technical solutions.The ideal candidate has experience in technical sales within manufacturing or PCB-related industries, with the ability to combine strong relationship management skills with deep product and application knowledge.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and grow assigned accounts by promoting technical products and solutions to manufacturing customers.Drive new business by identifying opportunities and securing new accounts within the assigned territory.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, engineers, and decision-makers.Conduct product evaluations and on-site support to promote product adoption and performance.Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations, both in-person and virtually.Customize presentations and proposals to address customer-specific technical and commercial needs.Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and product capabilities.Collaborate with channel partners and internal teams to support distribution and sales strategies.Provide technical support to customers, including guidance on process optimization, testing parameters, and material selection.Support product launches by coordinating field trials and new product introductions.Participate in industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences to expand market presence.Monitor competitor activity and market trends to provide strategic insights.Maintain accurate reporting including sales forecasts, account plans, and activity reports.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.5 years of experience in technical sales or account management.Experience working with OEMs, manufacturing environments, or PCB/laminate-related products.Strong ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proven ability to manage territories, pipelines, and forecasts.Ability to travel as needed for customer visits, events, and business development activities.Preferred QualificationsExperience with PCB manufacturing, laminates, prepregs, or similar technical products.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product applications.Experience supporting engineering teams with technical solutions and troubleshooting.Familiarity with channel distribution models and partner management.J-18808-Ljbffr
