CT Technologist/Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment. Duties Perform CT scans and ensure the highest quality images are produced for diagnostic purposes. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort. Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques during procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care plans. Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise during imaging sessions. Document patient information accurately in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including Epic. Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques, including MRI, PET scans, DEXA scans, mammography, X-ray, nuclear medicine, and sonography. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in the imaging department. Skills Proficient in CT imaging techniques and equipment operation. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to diagnostic radiology. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices. Experience with EMR systems, particularly Epic. Ability to perform various imaging modalities such as MRI, PET scans, DEXA scans, mammography, X-ray, nuclear medicine, and sonography is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols in a clinical setting.
