Job Description For Counter Sales Customer ServiceMasters Building Solutions is an area manufacturer’s representative firm specializing in engineered solutions for sustainable design, energy-efficient HVAC systems and advanced building automation. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and personable Counter Sales Customer Service professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a parts retail environment and will bring strong communication skills, resourcefulness, and a commitment to excellent customer service.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneDuties/ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.Apply product and industry knowledge to match client needs with appropriate solutions.Respond to client inquiries about product features, usage, and industry trends.Prepare and provide quotes, credit terms, and bid specifications.Coordinate with purchasing, operations, and other internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and delivery.Occasionally travel to meet with clients or attend business-related events or training.Perform additional duties as assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong sales, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.HVAC industry experience or knowledge preferred.Solid understanding of technical or mechanical products (HVAC preferred).Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software. Education And ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent.3+ years of customer service or inside sales experience.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting and computer work.Ability to lift up to 70 pounds as needed.Work Location:This position is on site in Madison.
