Pediatric VFC & Immunization CoordinatorThe Pediatric VFC & Immunization Coordinator oversees the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program and immunization operations within the pediatric practice.Responsibilities include managing VFC enrollment and audits, maintaining vaccine storage and temperature logs, overseeing inventory and ordering, ensuring accurate EHR documentation, and collaborating with billing teams to support proper coding and claim submission. The coordinator also serves as a resource for staff training, quality improvement, and immunization compliance.QualificationsRequiredExperience in a Pediatric medical practiceWorking knowledge of the VFC ProgramStrong understanding of immunization schedules and vaccine handling requirementsExperience with EHR systems and documentation standardsExcellent organizational and compliance-focused skillsPreferredClinical background (MA, LPN, RN, or equivalent experience)Experience with vaccine inventory management systemsFamiliarity with pediatric billing and coding related to immunizationsPrior audit or compliance experienceSkills & CompetenciesHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong compliance and regulatory awarenessEffective communication and collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesProactive problem-solving mindset
