This role is based in our facility in Lynchburg, Virginia, and reports to the Shift Supervisor.Job SummaryWe are seeking an upbeat individual who will be responsible to receive, inspect and prepare parts for production operations. This includes performing assembly and packaging operations as listed below.Principal ResponsibilitiesVisually inspect all incoming castings and gaskets for defectsTrim excess flashing with razor according to specificationsUse plug gauges to verify that each part meets specificationsIdentify and separate all rejected parts for resolution by Quality ControlMaintain grinding wheel inventory order replacement stock through D.I.
