Assembly Technician
AssemblerMason, OH Pay up to $20/hour MondayFriday, with occasional SaturdaysPosition Overview: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our clients team in Mason, OH. This versatile role involves assembling pre-hung interior doors and constructing roof and floor trusses using pre-cut lumber and metal connector plates. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong teamwork skills, and take pride in producing high-quality products that meet safety and design specifications.Key Responsibilities:Set up equipment, stage materials, and interpret work orders or blueprints for door and truss assembly.Prepare workspaces for efficient production.Assemble pre-hung interior doors according to specifications, including cutting, hinge and lockset preparation, and fastening jambs, stops, and casings.Construct roof and floor trusses by measuring, cutting, and positioning lumber based on blueprints and design specifications.Use hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment (e.g., saws, nail guns, presses) effectively.Verify accuracy and quality of components and finished products, inspecting materials and completed assemblies.Follow all safety guidelines and procedures when operating tools and machinery.Handle materials responsibly, report hazards or safety concerns immediately.Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Qualifications:Previous manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or related experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work orders.Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.Basic math and measurement skills.Ability to lift heavy materials (5075 lbs), stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Reliable, punctual, and a team player.Preferred Qualifications:Forklift certification (a plus).Knowledge of door assembly and carpentry skills.Military veterans encouraged to apply! #INDCincinnati
