Description The Leidos Spatial Solutions Division has an exciting opportunity for a senior DevOps Engineer to assist with the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of mission critical systems that enable NGA's Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) mission collecting sciences, technology and tradecraft measuring and modeling the Globe to provide three-dimensional accuracy of every point in, on, or above the Earth.Work onsite from Alexandria, Chantilly, Gaithersburg, or St. Louis, while enjoying up to half‑time telework to keep your week balanced and productive. Bring your expertise, your curiosity, and your drive — we’ll give you the platform to thrive.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties will be to support the deployment of microservices via a DevSecOps pipeline within a Linux-based multi-tenant environment. Extensive experience designing, implementing, and securing virtual networks within AWSExperience implementing VPC network connectivityExperience diagnosing and resolving VPC connectivity issuesDevelop, update, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline codeConfigure, troubleshoot, and deploy docker containersReview code within Git and extract/create engineering documentation as neededSupport Developer deploymentsProvide technical guidance for all capabilities/microservicesSupport Developer testing in the environmentCreate and Maintain DevOps documentationConduct Security remediation as needed from scansOther tasks as assignedBasic QualificationsTypically requires a BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experienceMust possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility, and ability to obtain a Polygraph after hireMust be a U.S. CitizenProactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.Understanding of custom code development/reviewsExperience with GITLAB functionality, error codes and scriptingExperience using AWS services/technologies (e.g. CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS)Experience with AWS Serverless architectures (lambda, API gateway, load balancing, autoscaling)Experience supporting development testingExperience with cloud-based architecturesUnderstanding of DevSecOps methodologies and workflowExperience developing and managing CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of SW Development and SW Sustainment PracticesTeam Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)Preferred QualificationsActive TS/SCI with PolygraphExperience with GitLab CI/CDExperience with AWS Lambda and AWS ECSExperience with troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying docker containersAWS certification (e.g. DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)Linux certificationsExperience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologiesIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
