Robotics Instructor - LearnToBot
What We Do: We teach kids of ages 6 to 18 how to build robots, circuits, and code (in Scratch & Python)! Our goal is to help kids solve problems using:
Microcontrollers like Arduinos and Raspberry Picos.
Hardware components like Ultrasonic Distance Sensors, Lasers, joysticks, LEDs, and motors.
Project like: RC Car, Robotic Cranes, Tollway gates, Laser Security Systems, moving Robots, & much more.
Who We Are Looking For:
College students (Sophomore level or above) pursuing a degree in any STEM field.
Must have some experience with coding (any language)
Ability to do classes in Katy, Richmond, Mussourie City, Sugarland and Neighoring areas.
Available afte 5pm on Weekdays for classes.
What You Will Do:
Guide kids through hands-on robotics and coding projects based on given instructions.
Solve 2 types of issues by comparing kids’ projects with working solutions: (1) Circuits, and also (2) Code (Scratch and/or Python)
Troubleshoot and solve technical problems as they arise.
Clearly explain to kids how to fix their issues so they can learn and succeed.
Job Details:
Training: Full training will be provided. Some previous coding is highly preferred
Location: Preferably if you can do classes in the Katy, Richmond, Sugarland and nearby areas.
Schedule: Variable & flexible. Primarily after 5pm on weekdays. (Can be up to 40 hours during holiday camps coinciding with College Holidays)
Pay: $16 - $22 an hour (based on your skill level & experience determined at the interview).
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
