In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects, analyzing drawings and specifications, and working closely with project managers and clients to support successful bids. Your expertise will play a key role in driving profitability and company growth.ResponsibilitiesReview project plans, specifications, and scope of work to develop detailed electrical estimatesUtilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare accurate cost proposalsPerform quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipmentSolicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricingEnsure estimates comply with NEC (National Electrical Code) and industry standardsIdentify scope gaps, exclusions, and potential risksCollaborate with project management to align budgets, schedules, and contract requirementsAssist with change orders and cost tracking as neededQualificationsProven experience estimating residential and/or commercial electrical projectsStrong proficiency with estimating software such as Conest, Accubid, McCormick,Electrical Bid ManagerSolid understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) requirementsAbility to interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specificationsStrong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skillsKnowledge of labor productivity and construction cost controlsField experience or hands-on electrical background is highly preferredJoin our team and apply your estimating expertise in a collaborative environment where your work directly contributes to winning projects and delivering excellence.Benefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceRelocation assistanceVision insuranceWork Location: Hybrid remote in Key Largo, FL 33037
