Job InformationThe purpose of this position is to insure the accuracy of warehouse inventory balances. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining a cycle count process, error analysis, accuracy reporting, and corrective action. The successful implementation of these processes should yield increased inventory accuracy, reduced component shortages, reduced cost of indirect labor for material handling, and improved productivity of the manufacturing operation.Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-FridayPay (DOE): $20.50-$29.57/hourRole & ResponsibilityThis position is responsible for the maintenance of the cycle count process, including, but not limited to:selection of parts to be countedcycle count method and techniquereconciliation of counts to perpetual recordsroot cause analysis for errorsreporting of results on a daily basis.Job RequirementEducation Required: High School DiplomaExperience Required: 0>2 yearsCertified Forklift LicenseEquivalent experience in lieu of Diploma accepted.Familiarity of PC and Bar Code applicationsFamiliarity with ERP and MES SystemsWorking knowledge of cycle count/audit procedures.Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, operating procedures and internal movement/handling processes.Visually inspect material for defects in material and workmanship, note shortages, and wrong part identification.Uses various materials handling equipment like scissor lift and cherry picked to get to material.May operate forklift and motor vehicles. Responsible for maintaining any required records on forklift and motor vehicle and performing various maintenance checks such as oil, tires, lights, horn, etc., on equipment used.Reports repairs needed to supervisor.The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent is required.
