Lead Avionics Engineer

Their mission is focused on producing water, oxygen, and power directly from lunar resources, laying the foundation for sustainable operations beyond Earth. As Lead Avionics Engineer, you will take ownership of the architecture, development, qualification, and integration of all avionics systems across multiple spacecraft and robotic platforms. This is a highly visible technical leadership position with responsibility for flight computers, communications, power management, sensors, motion control systems, and overall avionics architecture. Responsibilities: Defining avionics architectures, interfaces, and system requirements Leading design, development, integration, and qualification activities Driving environmental testing campaigns, including thermal, vibration, and shock testing Managing technical risks and ensuring successful program execution Mentoring and guiding other electrical and avionics engineers Requirements: 8+ years developing avionics systems for spacecraft or spaceflight applications Experience with Altium or similar PCB design tools Strong understanding of power electronics, sensors, instrumentation, and communication protocols Experience owning hardware through the full lifecycle from concept through qualification Background supporting environmental test campaigns (TVAC, vibration, shock, EMI/EMC) Ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment Does this sound like something you'd want to be a part of?
