2 YRS EXP REQUIRED - 1ST TIME TRAVELERS OK! MUST BE ABLE TO START 3/9 or 3/23! Must be willing to float to Post Partum/Nursery! UNIT DETAILS • Beds: 24 • Census: 150-180 births/month • Staffing Ratios: 1:2 • Pt. Population: Neonates, Adolescents, Adults • Shift: 3x12 NIGHTS • Float Required: Yes - Post Partum, Nursery • Call Required: YES, 1 per 2 weeks (PLEASE DISCUSS WITH TRAVELER PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL) • Weekends: Yes - 5 to 6 per 6 week period • Unit Systems: Omnicell, Epic, SBAR • Scrubs: Provided CERTIFICATIONS • Required: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP EXPERIENCE/SKILLS Required: • 3 years exp preferred - Accepts 1st Time Travelers if Experience Requirements met! • May consider 2 - 2.5 years exp if traveler has extensive travel experience • Circulate • Triage Must Have 3's and 4's in the Following: • Must have Labor and Delivery/Antepartum experience • Newborn care • Magnesium • Pitocin • SVE • Circulate • Recover • Post Partum Care • Heel Stick • Hyperbilirubenemia • TCB, TSB • Discharge Instructions • Car Seat education • Blood Transfusion • Circumsicion Care/Assist 1. Will you ever consider block scheduling? We don't do block scheduling. 2. How many weeks at a time is the schedule available to traveler? We schedule 6 weeks at a time. 3. How many weekends per month are required? Nights 7-9 Weekend Shifts every 6 week period. 4. One on call shift is required every two weeks. Will travelers know in advance when that call shift is going to occur? I will include the call shifts that are on the schedule that is already built when they are set to start. After that there is a posted volunteer call list they can sign up for their required call-shifts there.
