Job Title: Machine Operator-Entek Department: Pre-Production Reports to: Pre-Production Supervisor FLSA Status: Hourly Job Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for executing daily run schedules per the specified mix sheets laid out. The Operator must ensure that the machine and its ancillary systems are properly turned on per sequential process and up to acceptable running capabilities. The Operator must be mindful of optimizing the equipment’s capabilities while ensuring correct part quality. Qualities & Responsibilities: Self-starter with a good attitude. Problem solver. Interpret mix sheets and load machine with proper materials. Perform daily start up and verification checks of the machine and ancillary equipment. Excellent time management skills with attention to daily output goals. Perform color mix changeovers. Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail. Ability to function as a productive team member. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Moderate mathematical skills to calculate mixes and production numbers. Familiarity with PLC and HMI controls. Other Duties as Assigned Supervisory Responsibilities: None Education and Experience: Highschool diploma or equivalent (required) 2+ years of experience performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment. (Preferred) Requirements: Must be able to reach, stretch, bend, kneel, and during daily routine, with the ability to stand and walk for long lengths of time. Ability to lift, push and pull objects weighing over 50 pounds.
