Director of Property ManagementLocation: Edison, NJA privately held real estate investment and operating firm is seeking a Director of Property Management to oversee operations across a portfolio of Class A commercial office assets.This leadership role will partner closely with executive leadership, asset management, engineering, and leasing teams to drive operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, financial performance, and portfolio-wide consistency.The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial property management professional with a strong background overseeing institutional-quality office properties and leading high-performing property management teams.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of Class A commercial office buildingsLead and support property management teams to ensure operational efficiency and high service standardsPartner with ownership and executive leadership to drive asset performance and tenant retentionManage operating budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and CAM reconciliationsOversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service deliveryCollaborate with engineering and facilities teams on maintenance operations and capital improvement projectsEnsure compliance with operational policies, safety standards, and risk management proceduresDevelop and implement operational best practices across the portfolioSupport leasing efforts through tenant relations and operational coordinationMonitor KPIs related to occupancy, tenant satisfaction, operating expenses, and building performanceAssist with acquisition onboarding, transitions, and operational due diligence as neededQualifications7+ years of commercial property management experienceSignificant experience managing Class A commercial office propertiesPrior leadership experience overseeing property management teamsStrong understanding of commercial office operations, budgeting, tenant relations, vendor management, and building systemsExperience within owner/operator, REIT, institutional, or third-party commercial real estate environments preferredProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsExperience with Yardi, MRI, Angus, Building Engines, or similar commercial property management platforms preferredIdeal BackgroundCandidates from commercial office owner/operators, institutional real estate firms, third-party management companies, or investment platforms with Class A office experience are encouraged to apply.
