Escrow Officer (Full Time) – Daphne, ALThis is a full-time on-site role located in Daphne, AL for an Escrow Officer. The Escrow Officer will manage all aspects of real estate closings, review chains of title, and facilitate escrow processes. Collaboration with clients, lenders, and other real estate professionals will be required daily, ensuring a smooth and accurate closing experience. Providing exceptional customer service is key, as this role involves addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining open communication throughout the closing process. The Escrow Officer will be expected to process multiple files at once and should be familiar with standard closing concepts, documents, practices, and procedures. The ability to work efficiently under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude is a must.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage real estate closing process from the initial title opening request through post-closing.Work closely with lenders, buyers, sellers, realtors, county and municipal offices, and others.Gather and enter file data for all orders/contracts.Update colleagues and clients on the progress made with property title research.Prepare and understand closing documents such as title commitments and policies.Proofread documents.Execute daily time sensitive deadlines.Schedule closings.Collaborate with the lender to balance Closing Disclosures.Manage escrow accounts for each file, including the receipt of incoming funds and the disbursement of outgoing funds (issuing checks and initiating wire transfers).Prepare documents/packages to be sent out for recording.Job Requirements & SkillsExperience as an Escrow Closer for minimum of 2 years requiredAL Licensed Title Agent credentials are requiredProficiency in reviewing chains of titleHave a complete understanding of title insurance issuanceKnowledge of Qualia is a plusKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word & Excel)Strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong customer service skills and ability to remain calm in high stress situations.Ability to multitaskDetail-oriented and professional; able to appropriately handle confidential informationAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environmentWillingness to learn and process constructive criticismCompensationSalary based on experience.BenefitsDSLD Title offers a benefits package for full-time employees that includes, but is not limited to, medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with employer match, long term disability, life insurance, paid vacation and holidays.Please visit www.dsldtitle.com for more information.DSLD is an Equal Opportunity Employer
