They will be accountable for driving revenue growth, developing and executing account strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team of account managers. The Global Account Director will report to the Automotive Business Development Director, North America.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targetsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at assigned global accountsIdentify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within assigned accountsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and timely resolution of customer issuesPrepare and present business reviews and performance reports to clients and DSV managementLead and develop a team of account managers to achieve individual and team objectivesConduct regular account planning and review meetings with the teamEnsure customer satisfaction through effective communication, responsiveness, and issue resolutionEducational background / Work experienceBachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is requiredMaster's degree in business or a related field is preferredMinimum of 10 years of experience in sales or account management in the transportation and logistics industryExperience managing global accounts and developing account strategies is requiredPrior experience leading and managing teams is preferredKnowledge of and experience in the Automotive industry is preferred.Skills & CompetenciesStrong business acumen and strategic thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain strong customer relationshipsStrong leadership and team management skillsProficiency in data analysis and reportingAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThe Global Account Director will be responsible for leading and developing a team of account managersPreferred QualificationsExperience working in a multinational corporation is preferredLanguage skillsFluency in English is requiredProficiency in other languages is a plusComputer LiteracyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is requiredExperience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is preferredInformation regarding DSV's benefits offerings, including eligibility, coverage options, and plan details, is available through the DSV Benefits Showcase.
