You will partner closely with executive leadership, business teams, and external counsel on a broad range of strategic and operational matters across our U.S. business, while also supporting global initiatives.The role is based in Florida and reports directly to the General Counsel in Oslo.You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy operating close to the business, balancing legal risk with practical decision-making, and building scalable processes in a high-growth environment.What You’ll DoServe as a trusted legal advisor to business leaders and corporate managementLead and support commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiationDevelop and improve contract templates, playbooks, and contract management processesSupport corporate governance and maintenance of group governing documentsHelp strengthen and scale the company’s compliance framework and internal policiesDeliver practical legal and compliance training to business stakeholdersSupport ESG and sustainability-related initiativesPartner cross-functionally to improve legal operations, workflows, and digital toolsManage disputes and coordinate with external counsel when neededPromote pragmatic, business-oriented legal best practices across the organizationWhat We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for a proactive, solutions-oriented lawyer who combines strong legal judgment with commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset.You Are Someone WhoEnjoys working independently while also partnering cross-functionallyCommunicates clearly and confidently with both legal and non-legal stakeholdersBrings a practical, business-focused approach to problem solvingThrives in a fast-moving, international environmentTakes ownership, shows initiative, and is comfortable navigating ambiguityMaintains high ethical standards and strong professional integrityQualificationsJ.D. degree or equivalent legal qualificationMinimum 4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably combining law firm and/or in-house experienceExperience in one or more relevant areas such as commercial contracts, corporate law, privacy, employment law, intellectual property, compliance, M&A, or corporate governanceStrong business judgment and ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectivesExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExperience supporting international or cross-border business operations is a plusActive bar admission preferred, but not requiredWhy Join Element Logic?This role offers significant visibility and impact within a rapidly growing international company.
