VAN DRIVER

Requirements Valid driver's license. Must have basic computer skills to utilize both CIU-20 computer-based and web-based programs. Description Van driver needed for routes as assigned within the Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 servicing area. Transport students with special needs; operate and maintain assigned vehicle in a safe and efficient manner; follow safety regulations and traffic laws; maintain discipline; establish positive relationships; meet adaptive physical needs of students by assisting on/off vehicles, proper utilization of equipment, and handling/securing wheelchairs; inform parents of any delays or adjusted route times; maintain up-to-date: route schedule, student roster, student emergency information, mileage reports; pre and post-trip inspections; other duties as assigned.
