Process Engineering Technician

Job Title: Process Engineering TechnicianLocation: Texas (Onsite)Employment Type: Contract (6+ months, possible extension)Overview:Support manufacturing process development, equipment implementation, and validation activities. This role involves troubleshooting processes, building prototypes, and designing tools/fixtures to improve production efficiency in a fast-paced environment.Required Qualifications:2+ years of manufacturing or engineering experienceKnowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and inspection techniquesExperience with prototype, fixture, and tool fabricationStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to read and interpret technical instructions and drawingsKey Responsibilities:Support development, testing, and implementation of manufacturing processesTroubleshoot equipment and process issues and implement solutionsDesign and develop tools, fixtures, and gauges for productionFabricate prototypes for product developmentAssemble equipment using mechanical/electrical drawings and instructionsCollaborate with Engineering, QA/QC, Production, and R&D teamsExecute tasks related to engineering projects and process improvementsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or R&D environmentsExposure to process validation and continuous improvement methodologies
