Quality Control Technician 2nd Shift

We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesFollow written inspection and testing procedures to ensure manufactured product meets established construction, aesthetic, and operational standards; perform all quality control checks electronically within an ERP systemCarry out quality assessment measures of all products ready to be shippedReject all non-conforming product before it ships to the customerRecord inspection results by completing forms, summarizing re-work, and inputting data into a quality databaseUse gauges such as go/no-go and other devices to ensure product was built to standardsMaintain awareness of Engineering and or process changes that affect product quality (ECN’s)Immediately report re-occurring quality issues to ManagementUpdate QC knowledge by participating in educational opportunities sponsored by the companyEnsure jigs/tools have been returned to the correct storage location at days endEnsure proper placement of all warning decalsComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.Minimum QualificationsNo minimum education required2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read tape measure and blueprintsAbility to always follow instructions and processesProficiency in MS Excel, WordProficient written and verbal communication skillsMechanical aptitudeThe pay range for this position is $20.91 - $32.52/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
