Responsibilities Develop detailed mechanical designs using 2D CAD modeling software such as SolidWorks and Creo, including mechanical drawings, schematics, and tolerance analysis. Perform mechanical product development projects by translating concepts into manufacturable designs aligned with project timelines. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing effective corrective actions to enhance system reliability. Utilize engineering tools such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD software to optimize machine design and mechanical components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, electrical engineering, and project management to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within larger projects. Apply industry standards such as ASME codes & standards during design and fabrication processes to guarantee safety and compliance. Support manufacturing processes through mechanical drafting, building information modeling (BIM) tools, and creating detailed technical documentation for production. Experience Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on mechanical design and product development. Strong background in mechanical knowledge including machine design, tolerance analysis, schematics, and mechanical detail drawings. Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Drafting tools, and 3D modeling for product design; familiarity with CAD for mechanical drafting is essential. Hands-on experience with engineering product development projects involving system design, CNC machining, or assembly processes. * Pay: $71,878.45 - $86,563.29 per year Work Location: In person
