Network Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking a Network Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to support enterprise and data center networking environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco, Juniper, NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand, routing and switching, and large-scale network architectures.Your ImpactThe Essential Functions Of This Position IncludeDesign, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise and data center networksSupport Cisco and Juniper routing and switching environmentsConfigure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networkingWork with large-scale data center network architectures, including spine-leaf and VXLAN environmentsPerform network configuration, migration, upgrades, and troubleshootingTroubleshoot network performance, connectivity, routing, and switching issuesCollaborate with server, storage, virtualization, and infrastructure teamsProvide hands-on support during data center deployments and network implementation activitiesAssist with physical networking activities, including cabling, port connectivity, labeling, and hardware installation/validationSupport VMware networking and integration with enterprise/data center infrastructureDevelop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standardsQualifications6 to 10 years of hands-on network engineering experienceMust be willing to travel to customer/data center locations as requiredStrong experience with Cisco Enterprise Routing & SwitchingExperience with Juniper networking platforms.Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS and VXLANLayer 2/Layer 3 routing and switchingExperience with NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand networking.Strong understanding of data center and large-scale network architecturesWorking knowledge of VMware networking and virtualization environmentsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure teamsNice To HaveSupport NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand networks, including switches, fabric configuration, and troubleshooting Position & TravelPosition & TravelPosition Type: Bay AreaTravel: Must be willing to travel to customer/data center locations as requiredData Center Support: Hands-on participation may be required for physical networking, hardware validation, cabling, and network deployment activitiesPosition SpecificsThe initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $150,000 and $170,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure includes variable pay through commissions based on individual sales performance.
