Other duties may be assigned:1. Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated 2. Plan a study program that as much as possible meets the individual needs, interest, and abilities of students.3. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of the students.4. Prepare for classes assigned and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor.5. Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.6. Guide the learning process toward achieving curriculum goals by setting clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, ensuring alignment with overall educational goals, and effectively communicating these objectives to students.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully the ideal candidate must have the following: Illinois Professional Educator License with the appropriate endorsement (s) and minimum of bachelor's degree with from accredited College/ University.Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Bellwood Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement and Board of Education.Compensation: Provisions set forth in the Bellwood Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.
